Subaru Issues Regional Recall
Subaru of America Inc. is conducting a limited regional recall for certain model year 2003-05 Subaru Legacy, Outback, and Baja vehicles, as well as 2004-05 Subaru Impreza (including WRX/STI) vehicles, that are currently or have ever been registered in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and equipped with Takata-brand passenger side air bag inflators.

General Motors LLC is recalling nearly 2.5 million model year 2004-212 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles manufactured May 16, 2003 through Oct. 11, 2012; 2004-07 Malibu Maxx vehicles manufactured June 25, 2003 through April 5, 2007; 2005-10 Pontiac G6 vehicles manufactured May 26, 2004 through Jan. 4, 2010; and 2007-10 Saturn Aura vehicles manufactured April 24, 2006 through May 26, 2009.

Toyota Recalls Avalons for Airbag Issues

Toyota is recalling 119,140 model year 2003-04 Avalon vehicles manufactured June 5, 2002, through Dec. 20, 2004.

In these vehicles, the supplemental restraint system (SRS) circuits are susceptible to internal shorting.
